I am a Christian and I work alot at a flea mkt. Some of my merchandise gets broken during transport .I never throw anything away: I keep it for myself; Some I redo and make it like new.
A small crystal elephant with a missing trunk, a unicorn with a broken golden horn, these items and others with simular traits have more than one thing in common. Besides being broken or damaged in some way, they are usually rejected.
Why do I collect rejects? Because each one still has part of it's origional beauty, usefullness or purpose.
I have many broken things that I tend to collect and display where it can be seen, not repaired. They remind me of why Jesus came to earth...to mend and heal the broken, like I use to be.
Such a wonerful Savior who would do this and give hope to the hopelless.
Are you broken and need hope?
Please read the Bible for yourself and let the Holy spirit open up the message to your heart that you no longer need to be broken but can become a new person with hope in your spirit and earthly life and can live victoriously in any situation.
God cannot lie and the promises He makes that are recorded in the Bible are true. He cannot and will not lie for He is infinite love, showing mercy, grace, and love to all who will accept His reality and the sacrfice that His only son, Jesus, made for all humans.
I once wrote a poem in which I said, " I have only one son just as God did and God loves my son just as I love his."
Today my son is with His son and I find consolation in that.
So if you feel broken or know someone who seems to be broken, remember the One who came to heal and help the broken.
Have you ever repaired something that was broken in some aspect and it turned out to be wothwhile and beautiful? Well, that's what Jesus does with our broken lives.
When you have the opportuniy, do your part, according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, to help someone who seems to be broken and might feel alone and rejected in this world .
A life will be blessed and so will you.
