For so long now,
Ive lived with fear,
Worry was my life,
Anxieties and burden,
caused me lots of strife,
Nothing seemed to help me,
no matter what I tried,
Then I called out to Jesus,
"Help me Lord" I cried,
Something stirred within me,
I opened up my heart,
I began to fully trust in him,
as I should have from the start,
Everyday He is with me,
guiding me along,
I have His spirit with me now,
As my heart sings a new song.
