Here is a serious statement about angels, I know that there are, and that they are there, and they are here.
I have often seen the results of an angel or angels, helping me especially in cases of motor vehicles and possible car crashes. Once also when I was stuck in an elevator between floors I got help. I did not see an angel in these cases, but the fact that they did something to help me was very apparent. However, I did see one angel on one occasion, and it was nothing that I would have envisioned.
I am a single lady and was also at that time. I had two sons that were disabled and I had to work long hours to make ends meet for all of us. I was moving from an apartment to a less expensive place and had been working feverously from early morning to what was then 9:30pm. My car was packed to the hilt and I could see only through the rear view mirror. I had finished the apartment clean up and now must get to the storage unit which closed at 10:00pm.
When I got there no attendant was there, but thinking surely they would have left the gate “on” for renters until the 10:00pm hour as they said. I had been told that absolutely no one’s code would open the gate after 10:00pm. They said it was an automatic disconnect and could not be opened until the morning hour of 7:00am. I had gratefully arrived at 10 minutes ‘til 10pm, so I was not late to get the gate opened, I punched in my code on the key pad and it would not respond. I tried many times with no different results and then realized it was past then 10:00pm.
I was at a loss for what to do, my car was crammed full and I had to go to work the next day. I had pushed myself away beyond what I should have because of the responsibilities I had to my work commitment, and I felt like crying. I am not a crying lady. However, with tears in my heart I asked God to make the gate open. I punched my code into the key pad several times and it remained closed. By then it was between 10:20 and 10:30pm and I knew it was hopeless, but I must get the job finished. So with tears in my heart and exhaustion to the point of dying, I asked God to send an angel to open the gate. After all, God had done that for several of the Apostles as told in Scriptural accounts.
So I sat there for a while, and then I heard a loud motorcycle and I looked into the rear view mirror and a man was coming into the lot. He parked behind me, got off the bike and come to the keypad, he said, “Here, let me open the gate for you.” He punched in some numbers and the gate opened. He got back onto the bike and went into the storage area and I followed in through the opened gate also. When I got in there he was not there. I was there for about an hour and a half, he never left but he wasn’t there. I have no doubt that he was still there watching over me.
I was not shocked that he had come. I did not expect to “see” him but I did. There was no excitement or amazement in the experience, just calm matter of fact.
The thing that was so surprising to me is that he was “fit,” I mean handsomely “fit.” He was very tall and was wearing a black motorcycle suit that also fit well. The quality of the material of the suit is something I have never seen before and the bike, which was red, had a quality of paint and appearance, even at a distance that I would describe as “more than” brand new.
Recall that “no ones” code would work after 10:00pm. I had not forgotten my code; the panel was disengaged for everyone. He did not ask me what I needed or any question he knew and I have no doubt at all that he was and is an Angel from God. “Be careful to entertain strangers for some have entertained angels and were unaware of it.” Hebrews 13:2
I do believe that angels are all about us at all times. I thank God for the knowledge, being a single person and having to work a lot at night, I am glad to know that God’s got my safety covered with angels that are gentle to me and fierce with the enemy.
This is a true account.
