An Immutable, Unchanging God

Psalm 119:89-90 “For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled
in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou
hast established the earth, and it abideth.” (KJV)
Upon our God time has no claim.
Years come and go but He’s the same.
It matters not what time the clock.
My faith is anchored on the Rock.
Clocks and calendars pass away.
My God’s the same day by day.
If sun and moon should no more shine.
Thy promises are ever mine.
They will be there when I awake
Even if the whole earth quake.
Thy faithfulness shall have no end.
Forever Lord, Thou art my friend.
And yet there lies ahead of me,
Perfection in eternity.
And there for eons evermore
More faithfulness is yet in store.
Hebrews 1:10-11 “And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning
hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens
are the works of thine hands: And as a vesture shalt
thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou
art the same, and thy years shall not fail.” (KJV)
Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to
day, and for ever.” (KJV)
