The autobiography “Mover of Men and Mountains” chronicles the life of the prolific inventor “R. G. Le Tourneau”. As a Christian he was faithful in paying his tithe. Whenever he paid his tithe, he would see certain machines in his dreams. When he woke up, he would produce such machines on paper. His engineers were able to manufacture those machines-earth moving equipment. His machines represented nearly 70% of the earthmoving equipment and engineering vehicles used during World War II. He became a millionaire and even owned a private jet in an era when only extremely rich people flew private jets.
What makes the account of this industrialist an undeniable miracle was the fact that this man was not a graduate. At the age of 14, he left school with the blessing but concern of his Christian parents. This same man went on to own nearly 300 patents. He was the recipient of more than 30 awards and honors related to engineering manufacturing and development of heavy equipment.
This is what a revelation can do. It has the power to birth a life-changing idea. When the Spirit of God opens our eyes, He gives us the capacity to identify opportunities that were once elusive. If you will carve a niche of excellence in your career, ministry and life in general, you need ideas. And not just ideas. Ideas that will take you farther than human wisdom can take you. Such ideas are only available to those who sit at the feet of the Master. As they humble themselves to learn from His Word, they receive instructions. When these instructions are carried out, outstanding success is the result.
