Life is short. Compared with the time we will be spending in heaven with God, the whole of this life say 80 years, measures less than a second.
Our time here on earth is precious so let's strive to make it count. "Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Psalm 90.12. We really need to make the most of our hours, days, and years. In serving God, disciplining our lives, and living. Perhaps with God's help he will help remove unhelpful ways we use our time. I probably watch too much tv for starters, and I'd feel better just watching the right amount.
It matters a great deal how we spend our time on earth. At best we can ask God to show us and then walk in his plan. We need both balance and perspective.
Life is too short to hold grudges. It's simply not worth it since it gives us emotional wreckage we can honestly do without. Life is sweeter and smoother if we forgive quickly and move on.
Even if people harm us remember that it is not for long. "For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure." 2 Corinthians 4.17. Even our relatively short worst times will be turned to good for us by God.
May God bless you and show you how to use your time well.
