My life has been so wasted
no accomplishments of worth,
the best things that I’ve ever done
are my son’s and daughter’s birth.
I look at the things other people have done,
known for sports, movies and more.
All the great structures that mankind has made,
the Internet, and all types of floor.
Since 1900 all knowledge exploded
in every inconceivable form.
The humans, within God’s perfect plan,
used divinely inspired reform.
I’m not sure where these words are headed,
they have taken the pen in my hand,
it’s as though they have a mind of their own,
they could be simple or take some firm stand.
I never took time before to look at my home,
and contemplate how each thing came to be.
The human brain first conceived every plan,
human hands and machines set them free.
Have you ever looked at a bridge,
or a sky-scrapper, high in the sky?
What about tractors and farming machines,
theme parks and airplanes that fly?
Seeing my sewing machine, I wonder just how,
a mind could plan each gear and each screw.
Everything in this world was conceived with a plan,
and no “Big Bang” produced me and you.
Every living thing on this earth was created!
God made them, and us, with His Word.
I can imagine His enjoyment with each new creation,
in the sea, earth and air, and every kind of bird.
Even with all these wonders on earth,
it’s said that Heaven holds more!
Our minds can’t conceive of everything there,
part of eternity, we’ll just simply explore!
