"It has been said "There is nothing new under the sun."
It has also been said, "The more things change the more they stay the same."
What do you think about these statements?
There was a commercial not long ago that showed a young man sitting in a car with a fellow worker enjoying a breakfast sandwich as he was to start his new job. He took a bite of his delicious sandwich, gazed with wonder out the car front window and exclaimed, "Wow, what do you call this?"
The worker sitting next to him answered. "Morning."
After sleeping in for so long I was one day awakened to morning and could not and cannot still stop exclaiming, "wow, look at all this beauty." Things that were common are now uncommon. Things that were ordinary are now extraordinary. The trees and grasses are greener. Flowers bloom with more color and glory. Babies seem to glow with innocent life, and I seem to see a potential of hope in everyone.
Some people think me strange for I cannot stop exclaiming "wow." I gaze out my soul's windows and see the creation of my Father. The beauty of His creation is sometimes overwhelming, but the realization of a fraction of how much He loves me makes me want to shout, "look can't you see?"
Yes I cannot understand why everyone does not exclaim, wow, and sometimes I tend to withdraw some of my enthusiasm, to prevent rejection, but if I continue with such a withdrawal I feel I would just wither and die. Perhaps the rocks crying out would be what it takes for some to believe. But for me no, I will not stop exclaiming, "WOW. Look what my God has created, and look at the sacrifice He made for me."
By the way, did you see that sunrise this morning. WOW!
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
