Can you hear me, Father,
As my heart cries out to you?
Please forgive me, Father,
For I know not what I do.
In your hands I place my life,
For it is only you, Dear Lord,
Who can make everything right.
For this crying heart yearns
To be uplifted and set free,
From the pain within my soul
That this world cannot see.
I have cried and cried so many nights;
I didn't think I'd make it through.
But I thank you, Father,
for sending your Son
That in him I might find you.
Dear Lord, you are my Protector,
My Provider, and my Shield.
For you have blessed me and constantly kept me,
So unto you my heart I yield.
I humble myself to you, Dear Lord.
Please show me where to start,
As I journey along your paths of grace
for you have relieved this crying heart
