One beautiful Christmas this very fine year
Johnny, and Suzy went their aunt and uncle to share
up in the mountains with beautiful snow
they hoped to see Santa Claus with a big “ho, ho, ho.”
They arrived exited and ready to play
but their aunt and uncle said there’s a little delay
let’s have some dinner and then get some rest
and in the morning we can go for the best
The morning arrived very warm and cheery
and Johnny and Suzy weren’t the least bit leery
as they stepped outside to see the sights that were there
they noticed a car that seemed quite rare
They tip toed so quiet so no one would hear
to sneak in that car when they saw it was clear
they found in that car a red Santa suit
and a bright shiny pair of big red boots
Johnny and Suzy declared to each other
could it be Santa or maybe his brother
we best wait in here and look for a sign
to see if he’s going to be frightful or kind
But as soon as they looked out the window to see
both of their hearts shouted out with glee
it wasn’t Santa but his well know elves
had come to see Johnny and Suzy themselves
The elves said you’ve been such good children all year
and we are happy to come and bring you good cheer
your aunt and uncle said to come with care
and we bring these gifts with you to share.
