God put His arms around me
And held me close to Him
He told me that He loved me
He said He really cared
He wiped away the tears
As they fell upon my cheeks
He whispered quietly in my ear
And took away my fears
Then He told something special
I truly was amazed
He told of His Son
Who had died at Calvary

Lovely poem! Yes, God does care and we His children know that well, but we sometimes need to hear it again and again whispered in our ears and be held close to Him. O how we love Him too, because He first loved us.
