The boy who had no feet.

By Gwendolyn Hollander

Once I was feeling blue because I had lost my shoe!
until one day, I met a boy on the street who had no feet.

Fabia and her mommy were on their way to the park. It was a lovely day outside, the sun was shining and the birds were singing. As they were walking, Fabia noticed a young boy sitting in a strange chair. "Mommy what kind of chair is that boy sitting in. I have never seen a chair like that before." Fabia asked her mommy with a beaming face."It is called a wheel-chair my angel. People who can't walk use them" Fabia's mommy said. "What do you mean, people who can not walk mommy? Why can't they walk?" Fabia's mommy took a few seconds before answering the question. "You see my angel, some children are born with complications and not every one is born healthy. Some are born blind and others deaf, there are many thing that could go wrong and other people have accidents. They were in a car accident and lost their legs. It is sad my darling but these things do happen. If you know someone who has been in an accident, it is very important to treat them with lots of love and never gudge them" Fabia's mommy explained to her daughter. "What is gudge mommy?" Fabia asked. "It is when you think or say some thing about a person when you know nothing about them" Fabia's mommy reached in her pocket and took out a 50c coin. "You see this 50c coin Fabia! It will always heve two sides, heads and tails. No matter what you do it will always have these two sides. So when you look at a person and you see he has no legs flip the coin and try to see the other side of him. He could be a very nice boy and he could become your best friend but you will never know if you dont flip the coin. Only God can Judge my angel, we can not because he is the kings of kings and he loves that little boy just as much as he loves you. You both are part of his creation and he loves the two of you very much" Fabia took the coin and walked over to the young boy sitting in the wheel chair. "Hi my name is Fabia may I be your friend? she asked and gave him a big friendship hug. The end.

I really liked the content of the story, especially the use of the coin. However, there were a couple of spelling(gudge should be judge, for example) and grammatical errors.

this was very good. It helps us to not just look at what we see, but get to know the person before we judge.
