"Inner Peace"

Peace has a variety of definitions, if I had to define it in the simplest way. It would be the absence of war or conflict.

I came to realize that there was a large amount of conflict present in my life and that inner peace was absent. I was sad and unhappy most of the time which took place on a daily basis.

Serenity for me was isolating myself, and only going outside when necessary. That was my answer to my existing problems.

Inner peace had to come from the inside of me. I had to come up with a solution to resolve these conflicts that roamed around inside of me.

As I began reading my bible, I realized that I had yet to turn my problems over to God. It was apparent to me at this point I was not handling these conflicts. In the bible God tells us that our battles aren't ours; they are his. (2 Chronicles 20:15)

I gave everything to him, not leaving anything out. We ask "GOD" to do things for us but we don't give it to him completely. He won't work on your behalf if you half step with him.

God knows us better than we know ourselves. He created us. He always has our back, he promises. This is something that I know to be true, it’s in his word.

Inner peace for me now overflows my happiness and my peace now runs like a faucet of running water.
