Beyond the blackened stairway,
Across the shattered skies,
Arose a man with fury
Where the fallen angels cried,
In hand a six string instrument
From a long forgotten time,
He tuned the golden relic,
and forged an ancient chime.
His chords of power sunk Atlantis
with but otherworldly sound,
Indeed his instrument of chaos
threw all kingdoms to the ground.
Twas he who slew the dragon,
Ten thousand years of age,
Well he walked atop its scaly hide,
and made its corpse his stage!
So the founders of the mountains
Gathered 'round from near and far
Until he spoke like thunder
THIS HERE, I NAME GUITAR!
Then he made out 'cross the sunset,
To a gateway made of stone,
Where he walked into its glowing eye
A single man alone,
And cast upon a virgin Earth,
So violent and so cruel,
Yet the sound this man hath wrought
Would be the only thing to rule.
