I heard the Almighty say,
“I give you a choice, do not play the fool.
Let him serve who will not rule.
I fashioned your hands to carry a scepter.
I framed your feet to walk on gold.
I formed your eyes to see my glory.
I fired your heart to be as bold.
I shaped your mind to know my love.
I destined your soul for a throne above.
I anointed your head to wear a crown,
I strengthened your arm to win renown.
Now here’s the choice, if right prevail,
I’ll make you the head and not the tail,
All of my blessings and none of my curses,
Shall follow your footsteps without any reverses.”
I answered,
“By your grace,
This day,
I choose to rule.”
To spell it out God is saying,
Put down the remote, pick up the scepter and pray.
Climb out of the mud and walk on the gold today.
Get your eyes off the world and onto my glory.
Be bold; be strong for I have made you holy.
Guard your mind with all diligence.
Pursue your destiny and inheritance.
Take dominion over all the powers of Hell.
Its by might and battle my Kingdom will swell.
