Our story unfolds the gift of Light,
And it’s Spinner from darkest night.
Before the existence of time or matter,
Without the help of chance or nature,
Set to work the Great Light Maker.
By omnipotent hand and Infinite Wisdom,
God began his first creation.
Into midnight blackness, Jesus spoke,
Darkness fled, and light awoke.
“Let light be,” and it was,
Instantly, that Glittering stars
and swirling Galaxies,
Whistled across vast proximities!
Angels beholding the solar rays,
Were shocked with awe then filled with praise,
As fabulous motions of star-spangled spheres,
Moved angelic eyes to moisten with tears,
Well down thru the ages, According to lore,
Stars are holes in the Celestial floor;
If that is true only time will tell; for now,
Gazing upward into these glorious skies,
To search their secrets or admire their size,
Of Saturn’s rings or Black hole things,
Can inspire dreams or invite God’s favor,
From every light announcing our Savior.
