I rejoice at the lot of my sister—
Her becoming Mrs. to her Mister.
This is her time to enjoy happiness.
She deserves to delight in sappiness.
Glad to witness her miracle of love,
My left behind feeling, aside, I shove.
I am thankful that her wait has ended.
Her and her companion’s lives have blended.
I celebrate with my sister’s blessing
Versus, when it will be my turn, stressing.
I resist accommodating envy’s rise.
One’s favorable fortune, should I despise?
I know jealousy is cruel to the grave,
Causing one to consider deeds depraved.
I deny bitterness chance to take root.
My heart for my sister, it would pollute.
