I Saw the Lord
I saw the Lord
and he was holding
a pair of scales
in his hand.
[Revelation 6:5]
And he said
'as far as the east
is from the west,
is how far
I have removed
your transgressions
from you.
[Psalm 103:12]
'I have made
the boundary lines
fall in pleasant places
and given you
a delightful inheritance.
[Psalm 16:6]
'I have shown you
the path of life,
filled you with joy
and eternal pleasures.
[Psalm 16:11]
'I have weighed you
with honest scales
and found you blameless'.
[Job 31:6]
Then he rode off,
measured the waters
weighed the mountains
and kept the hills
in balance.
[Isaiah 40:12]
And now my heart is glad,
my tongue rejoices
and my body rests secure.
[Psalm 16:9]
