Author requests article critique

I am standing in Your presence, Lord;
I want to stay with You,
reflecting all Your glory
in all I say and do.

I want to show Your mercy,
Your love, Your peace, Your grace;
I want to show You to the world
through the smile on my face.

Keep me wrapped in tenderness,
the kind that's calm and true,
so when I reach to hug a friend
it's like a hug from You.

Help me remember this lesson, Lord -
to recall it day and night:
that the world may have its standards,
but true beauty starts inside.
