You were buddies from the day you first saw each other.
The twinkle in your eyes showed all the excitement of the knowing.
Knowing that this friendship would last forever.
You looked forward to each day knowing you would spend as much time as you could with your buddy.
Your buddy was special and unique.
And so was your friendship.
Then one day another arrived and then more.
Yes you had many friends you loved dearly.
Some may have said or just thought.
They are just horses and not even full grown at that.
But they where your minis.
You loved them so much and in return they loved you as much.
You watched them grow, play and just sleep at times.
You made sure they had a great place to sleep and enough to eat.
You just knew that they would always be there to touch, hold and love.
You felt the joy of knowing they would be happy and joyous always.
Then one day the unthinkable occurs and they are all gone.
You cried got angry and cried some more.
You asked why and then didn’t want to hear the answer.
You remembered and cried.
You looked out to see were they use to run and all you saw was open field.
There was a certain spot they would go.
You walked out to that place and cried and wondered.
Will I ever heal from this pain?
When you get to that point again please do this.
Look up and say.
Father God I do not understand why.
But I ask for at least comfort from this pain.
Many are praying and many cried for you.
And all are saying here we are just reach out to us so we can reach back.
And help you once again know the power of
Love.
