Hebrews 11:6 says "Without Faith it is impossible to please God, for anyone who comes to God must believe that He is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
This takes Faith to live.....and anyone who tries to live without Faith is in trouble!
For example: dealing with fear.
~Fear knocks at the door...
~Faith opens the door ...
~Fear is gone.
This is the Bible Way.....and after 82 yrs. I can attest that it is the BEST way!
Life is a process of:
~ growing in Faith
~trusting God in all things
~and above all things, Pleasing Him.
Our 45 yr. old daughter Kristin begins radiation treatment for breast cancer this a.m. in Dallas. When we talked this evening about 'fear', she said that she is not fearful and that she has a peace.
God has given her many 'Guideposts' along the way concerning this trial, so she said she's resting in Him and His promises.
In over 50 yrs. of pastoring and preaching, I've seen the following:
~Faith in the New Testament is not an automatic means of us 'bending' God the Almighty to our will and to have Him minister to our whims, but is centered in our submission to His Will.
Remember, you are putting your trust and life in The One Who died for you!
I recently read about two brothers, one of whom had an incurable disease which could be helped only by a transplant from his brother. When one of the doctors came into the brother's room he asked, "When will I die?"
He was willing to die for his brother. Jesus did that very thing for us!
The Faith-life:
~ rests in an experience
~ trusts and follows the example of Jesus
~ and lives under the control of God.....for the honor of God.
Therefore we see the following:
~Faith makes a Christian
~Life proves a Christian
~Trials confirm a Christian
~Death will crown a Christian

Have faith in God when your pathway is lonely.
He sees and knows all the way you have trod;
Never alone are the least of His children;
Have faith in God, have faith in God.
Have faith in God when your prayers are unanswered,
Your earnest plea He will never forget;
Wait on the lord, trust His word and be patient,
Have faith in God. He'll answer yet.
Have faith in God in your pain and your sorrow,
His heart is touched with your grief and despair;
Cast all your cares and your burdens upon Him,
And leave them there, oh, leave them there.
Have faith in God though all else fall about you;
Have faith in God, He provides for His own:
He cannot fail though all kingdoms shall perish.
He rules. He reigns upon His throne.
Have faith in God, He's on His throne,
Have faith in God, He watches over His own;
He cannot fail, He must prevail,
Have faith in God, Have faith in God.
Having Faith in God and Pleasing Him should be our #1 priority!!
