Is not My Spirit like a river, flowing freely to water all who will remain in its path to receive its refreshment? Does it not water the parched ground and cause the tender herb to spring forth? Is not My River life, saith the Lord?
Yet there are many who would dam or divert the flow of My River to suit their own selves, for their contrary flesh nature wars against My divine nature within them. Others would go so far as to stop it altogether if they could. There be many who say, “Let the favored few receive the Lord’s benefits, for they are the worthy ones. For they measure up to OUR fleshly standards of holiness or personal magnetism. We can use him or her, the self-centered hypocrite says. She is beautiful. She has a lovely singing voice. He has wealth to contribute to OUR building fund. So let the love of the Lord flow out to those deemed the more comely members, and we’ll hope that the less favored ones just go away, for we have no need of them.”
Yet did I not seek out the lonely outcast woman of Samaria, who had had five husbands? Was it not to her I was sent? She was despised and rejected even by her own people of lowly estate. Yet I sought her out in the heat of the day when others would have rested and sheltered themselves from the fierce sun.
I said not to her, “Go improve yourself to conform to My standards, then I will meet your need.” Instead, I allowed her to drink from the living well of My Spirit that she might live and not die. Even My own disciples were astonished that I ventured beyond the narrow confines of ministry which were acceptable in that day. Many self-righteous Israelites would have been pleased to see the Samaritan woman remain in her lost condition, and even go to hell, for My love had no place in their lives.
I say to My end-time church that My power and My love go hand in hand. Without love, every work supposedly performed in My Name shall be burned at My judgment seat as worthless rubbish. It is a stench in My nostrils when certain ones who have committed no offense against Me are frozen out of fellowship and deliberately snubbed just because they deviate from fleshly standards of economic status, social class, personality type, intellect, or physical attractiveness.
I will send My rod of judgment upon lukewarm churches which persist in this evil practice of freezing out precious saints who are not loved for themselves. I will spew them out of My mouth as vile reprobates unless they repent. I will shatter their wicked pride and arrogance at My judgment seat. And surely the candle of My Holy Presence shall be utterly taken away from its stand in the midst of those who reject My light and prefer the darkness of this evil, ugly world.
