Wherefore holy brethren, partaker of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our profession (confession) - Heb 3:1
In today's teaching, I will like to share about our Lord Jesus` role as the apostle of our confession. The Lord Jesus backs us up from heaven. He said - he will do what he hears us say. So be careful what you say. Our confession is our profession and you are whatever you say you are.
You must also know that you are what are today because of what you said yesterday and that whatever you become tomorrow will be a by-product of what you are saying today.
Therefore load yourself with the word of God and fill yourself with his Spirit and help shape your future. The Lord is waiting to hear good words from you; words of edification that will build you up. Speak unto your future and let the Lord Jesus help you shape your destiny.
You must know that your destiny is not in the hands of any man. It is in the hands of the Lord but you determine what you become on planet earth. I believe you wouldn't want to get to heaven tomorrow and get a rebuke from the Lord. Some will get rebukes because they ain't living according to the plan and purpose of God. If you would like him to say unto you - well done, thou faithful and profitable servant, you must let your conversation be seasoned with salt.
Allow the Lord shape your destiny through your wholesome confessions. He can take you to your desired destiny but you must co-operate with him. Let him build you up. Take time to pray in the Spirit each day and let wholesome powerful and prophetic words flow out of your mouth. Be a blessing by blessing people with your mouth and your deeds each day and watch your life as it flourishes like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Always remember, he is the apostle of your confession and he is always taking note of all you do and say openly and secretly and will surely reward you openly. Selah
