The name 'Siloam' naturally reminds us of the pool Jesus sent a blind man to. The name - 'Siloam' means sent and it is a shadow of the Mount Zion where Christians sent by God normally visit everyday.
The pool is a place where we can all go to after we have suffered afflictions and when the Lord puts mud on our face trying us with trial and refining us in the furnace of afflictions.
We should all come to fellowship with God in his presence signified by the pool and this is an invitation to come worship in his presence. His presence bears different names in the bible.
Ps 42:7 calls it - water sprouts.
Ps 23:2 calls it - the still waters.
Is.55:1 calls it - the waters .
John 7: 38 calls it - rivers of living waters.
In his presence we would :
1, See clearly for the mud shall be removed from our eyes and our eyes would be open.
2, Drink of the water of life when we are thirsty.
3, Eat when we are hungry.
4, Buy things freely when we dont have any money.
5, Hear God`s voice when we lack direction.
6, Have fullness of joy.
7, Have pleasures for ever more.
Invitation:
O come to the waters and drink freely. Come when you are troubled or despaired. Come and taste of his goodness. O taste and see that the Lord is good and his mercies endures for ever.
Come to the stream where the rivers flow with life. Just like it begun in Eden. I am gonna have life shared with you. O come and see that the Lord is good.
Happy are they that see me face to face for I am gonna fill them up for my task.
Come to my pool let me baptize you with the Holy Ghost so that you may speak in tongues and be refreshed.
O come to my site o ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. I will give you delight for your soul.
