SPOKEN SILENCE

It certainly had the potential of ruining our friendship. But, you needed to know of my relationship with Christ, and have your own friendship with Him.

So, I spoke of the Gospel message, with all the nervousness I could control; however, it didn’t come out anything like I had hoped - a bit of a messed doing. But, having said it, as slippery as it was, I felt an enormously satisfying relief, for having told you of my love for Jesus.

Then, we rejoiced together !

Indeed, we would have rejoiced, if I had told you, what I wanted to tell you, instead of surrendering, to spoken silence.

How often do we fail to tell others of Christ? So often we let opportunity slip away, thinking of another day, some other way.
