In actuality life is not always a pleasant journey, there are days and moments when we feel discouraged and loaded with a burden of care. We seek a helping hand and strength to pull ourselves out and to stand victorious, for having examined all our available resources we find ourselves in need of a true friend who would help us come out victoriously always.
It was dark now, and Jesus had not yet come to them. The followers got into a boat and started across the lake to Capernaum. By now a strong wind was blowing, and the waves on the lake were getting bigger.
John 6:17-18 (New Century Version)
The disciples of Christ in the above instance have been caught up in the strong winds and rough waters, however when the Lord came near them, and had comforted them, they could reach the shore in peace.
The presence of strong winds and rough waters is certain in almost every circumstance in our life, however what we have to ensure is the presence of the Lord with us.
We can never arrive at a right decision without the Lord leading us, we can never be at the best in our life without Christ.
Jesus said..
"I am the vine, and you are the branches. If any remain in me and I remain in them, they produce much fruit. But without me they can do nothing."
John 15:5 (New Century Version)
Its so much true, for without Christ we have no success.
Let's resolve this year that we shall be with the Lord always and let Him lead us everyday and in everything and let us overcome every problem with the strength of the Lord, for in Him there is victory for sure.
