Spoken to one night,
Through a quote I read.
God said, “Be light,
Don’t look so dead.”
You see, He’s right,
I’m blessed with grace.
I shouldn’t have to tell you,
You’ll see it on my face.
I shouldn’t yell it,
You shouldn’t ask me.
You should just see it,
I should look happy.
Christians are salt,
We are the light.
We should shine smiles,
In this dark night.
I can’t hear light bulbs,
But they are visible.
We also haven’t a use,
If we’re always miserable.
And don’t make faces,
But let God’s love show.
If you’re saved by grace,
It will defiantly show.
People should see you,
And tell you to stop.
Admiring you,
They’ll ask what you got.
God’s children laugh,
They have a privilege.
They should be far from,
The stereo-typical image.
Draw near to God,
He’ll draw near to you.
Let the joy from Him,
Shine right through you.
Please remember this fact,
If you’re saved by grace.
People need not ask,
They’ll see it on your face.
Smile, God loves you!
