The center of Your will, Lord,
That's where I want to be,
And if that means I walk through this
Then have Your way with me.
I would not choose what causes pain,
But, Lord, You know what's best,
And if this trial's for my good
In it I choose to rest.
These years with You have taught me
You always seek my good,
And so I can give thanks in this,
Before I never could.
I find only fulfillment,
And joy and peace are friends,
And though the present may bring pain
My path in glory ends.
"But He said to me, My grace--My favor and loving-kindness and mercy--are enough for you, (that is, sufficient against any danger and to enable you to bear the trouble manfully); for My strength and power are made perfect--fulfilled and completed and show themselves most effective--in (your) weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ, the Messiah, may rest--yes, may pitch a tent (over) and dwell-upon me!" II Corinthians 12:9 (Amplified Bible)
"For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, In returning to Me and resting in Me you shall be saved; in quietness and in (trusting) confidence shall be your strength." Isaiah 30:15a (Amplified Bible)
