He will honor it
Whatever you do whether in word or deed, do it in the name of the Lord-Colossians 3:17 NIV
God will honor it! What does that really mean? Well the word honor means to show respect and or to give credit to, so I think it's safe to conclude that the phrase God will honor it means that God will recognize it (whatever it may be).
One illustration of God honoring it can be found in Daniel 3:10-27. When King Nebuchadnezzar (or King Neb as I like to say) became so conceited that he called for a gigantic figure of gold to be build and worshiped in his esteem, 3 Jewish boys (although the Bible only mentions Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego I'm sure that Daniel was apart of this open defiance as well) decided otherwise. Instead of bowing down and worshiping a golden figure (as what had been done in Moses' day-Exodus 32:4) this trio boldly stood up to King Neb by refusing to submit to that of which he had made god out to be. This only infuriated him, so much to the point that he ordered the furnace (that of which the boys would eventually be thrown into because of their blatant disrespect) to be made seven time hotter than normally kept. Of course we all know that King Neb's actions towards Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego was no match for God because God even danced around in the fire with them and brought them out of it without a single hint of them ever being up and close with a fire.
The moral of the story is that if you're doing what's right in God sight He will most definitely take notice of it and bless it.
