Usually at the end of each month I like to re-read the thoughts and prayers that I have penned in my journal. I make a note of scriptures that have steered me in correction or comfort. I don't want to forget what God has said or to miss what He is doing. So I carry these things "forward".
I have found that God will build precept by precept, a little here and a little there. Like a puzzle that takes shape when you begin to lay more and more of the pieces down; you start to see how each part links and holds together.
I find myself in no hurry to finish the puzzle. I take time to marvel over the picture that He has begun to reveal. I don't want to rush through what God is doing. It is important to allow God to work deeply in our lives. Let Him put that piece in firmly and securely before moving on to other pieces.
It's like a secret that is slowly being uncovered. I savour those moments. Even when the pieces have been "warped" and in need of pressure to make them fit in the right place, I pause to thank Him. In the unfolding of the "bigger picture" I see how He is always with me.
Matthew 28:20 (Amplified Bible) .. behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).
