Writing with Purpose

No matter what form our writing takes, whether it be greeting cards, poetry, devotionals, non-fiction or fiction, we have the opportunity to be used by God to accomplish His purposes when we include scripture in our writing.

Isaiah 55:11 says…

My word will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

That’s exciting! For this reason, we should prayerfully consider which scriptures to include in our writings, knowing that God is aware of who will be reading what we write and that He wants to work in each reader’s life.

What a joy to be used by God to further his plans and purposes in the lives of others!
