A New Year, a new chance,
to get things right
to live.
New music, and a new dance,
to give all we can give.
Letting go of yesteryear,
grabbing hold of now.
Driven by His Purpose
to find our place somehow.
A New Year, a new chance,
to grow and learn and be.
Everything God calls us to,
with eyes that truly see.
Hearts that truly feel Him tug.
Ears that truly hear.
Arms extending God’s own hug.
Faith replacing Fear.
A New Year, a new chance,
to touch a heart or two.
Make a difference, be a friend,
ever real and true.
Just as Jesus walked in Love,
so our steps should be

For God in you,
and me.
