Why is today different, Lord?
Nothing has changed in my world.
My car is in the shop. My desk is piled high.
Our house needs a maid! Ah, I know the difference.
I spent more time with you last night.
I just let things go and spent time with you.
What would I do without you, Lord? You understand my frustrations, my dreams, my longings.
Thank you that I have matured enough to know you not only as savior, but as Lord.
Help me to show others where peace can be found.
Not in circumstances, but in sweet communion with you.
