I always seem to find peace there. It has been a place of refuge, the place I have come to call home.
The journey maybe riddled with potholes on my path, but as a pilgrim I have learned that home is just around the bend...
The path may be unclear and muddied with questions, and fears and the fear of what I do not know. But knowing that home is always there and home is around the bend gives me the peace I need to keep walking. And sometimes I fall much further than I expect and it seems too much to get up and dust myself off and keep walking. But, then it calls me, it beckons me: Home. It keeps me on this journey, on this dusty path of struggle. Those good times during this journey create in me an eagarness to reach my destination.
Anytime the sun sets too soon, or the rain falls to early, I must remember, I must move on, for home is just around the bend...
THEME:
GOD is our home. He is our peace. Heaven is our destination. Sometimes this journey called Christianity gets burdensome and discouraging, but we must remember that God is our home and we are merely pilgrims passing through...We are not Home Yet!!
