Change
I never know what to wear with it
Canal ice moans at dawn’s warm song
Noon creates cracks, separation, faith gaps
There is only one path that does not last … long
Present presence waits not, its shadow is cold
Now keeps changing … to a different now … a few seconds later … for someone else
I live dead to self, never knowing what to wear
But fair is another poem rhyming excuses
When Dad says, “Here.” … That’s the only place to be
Regardless
Change
