Two thousand and ten,
Oh, what a year.
Time for smiles,
Time for a tear.
Full of trials,
And full of tests.
But through the pain,
God still blessed.
Was full of jokes,
And full of laughter.
All the good times,
Made it faster.
Two thousand and ten,
March, twenty eight.
Three days after my birthday,
My baptism date.
How great God’s gift,
For my twenty first.
And from the joy,
How I wanted to burst.
So many lessons,
So much grace for me.
I pray for all my sins, Lord,
Please forgive me.
Two thousand and ten,
A year of growing.
Learning about God,
Feeling His love flowing.
You taught me heaps,
Enlarged my faith.
One thing You taught,
Without You, I’m unsafe.
You even carried me,
Through loneliness and pain.
God, You cared for me,
Even knew my name.
Lord, You spoke to me,
And so many times.
God, I’m not worthy,
To write these lines.
Answering many questions,
I heard Your voice.
Through the Bible,
Through music, through Your boys.
Two thousand and ten,
Defiantly to remember.
Everyday from January,
Right until December.
Lord, I have no words,
Have nothing in me.
To express everything,
You’ve done for me.
First year as a Christian,
How great it was.
I pray Lord for more,
Like this between us.
