Expectant mothers knit sweaters, booties, bonnets and blankets; aglow they busy themselves as God knits the child in the womb. “For thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13 NAS).” Baby clothes are soft and cuddly but cannot compare to the warmth of the womb.

He sent out angels to deliver birth announcements, triumphantly hurling a dazzling star across the darkness as a brilliant diamond. The angels’ news foreshadowed an even greater announcement; He has risen! (Matthew 28:6)
