May the blessings of God fall upon you like spring showers,
each raindrop caressing each leaf of a sugar maple or pine;
meandering down stem, branch and trunk,
and into rich earthly soil to the roots of the tree;
that drinks deeply of the fragrant drops of water
finding the full satisfaction coming only from the Creator.
May the blessings of God fall upon you like soft flakes of first snow,
a crystal carpet of yielding wetness insulating the land from sound
and beckoning you to deep solitude.
In the depths of that solitude you will find light and silence,
and within it, you will find infinity,
ending and beginning, communion with the Creator.
May the blessings of God fall upon you like a shower of meteors
falling through the atmosphere,
each trailing light a representation of some forgotten ancestor,
whose molecules collide with yours, giving you memory of a time
that is now and it is mystery.
Mystery is always from the Creator.
