Advent - a time of waiting
A time for reflecting
Waiting for new birth

What will it be?
What will Jesus
reveal to us?

We come to you
in prayer Jesus
We come with open hearts

We empty ourselves
of what distracts
us from you

We wait with
longing for the
spiritual wisdom you will give

Yet- not a passive waiting
We wait with prayer
and with showing your light

You come to us each
day - each minute
Yet you are preparing something new

What it will be
we leave up to you
We stay spiritully awake

Come Lord Jesus
Come Emmanuel
Come within our hearts

Amen
