Our family has a pair of cats that are sisters, they are old, and as opposite as night and day in behavior. Katrina is very aloof and usually wants to be left alone. She occasionally comes up to someone, but only if she specifically wants something. Fluffy is very insecure. She is lost if someone is not nearby to snuggle with. How much these two cats are like so many of the hurting people around us. Those that resist love and those that are hungry for love. Just read the paper or listen to the news and you will find story upon story of lives that are rooted from the same kind of pain. There is one love that heals both of these pains. It is the love of Jesus. And He showed us the ultimate love, by dying for our sins.
I pray that the Lord will help me to see those that our hurting and show them the love of Jesus by my actions.
