You said and it became
Stars twinkling in the sky
Water and earth standing out
Mars and all the planets
Circling in a perfect form
You traveled from heaven to earth
To give me new birth
From sprit to moral
All for someone like me
That’s why I must stay loyal
I don’t deserve it
No, not one bit
You made me special
To receive the blessings
of eternal life
A child is born there in that place
Where innocence is wrapped in swaddling clothes
While beast of the filed join the song of the heavenly host
Who is this child you ask? Gods Son that he loves most
Oh child of the King, you ended your walks on clouds
To walk on holy grounds,
Maker of the universe
Your sandal prints now print the ground
And beside me you are found
Taking each step that I take
On green, on brown, I’m heaven bound
You follow me all the way to the grave
And inside the tomb where I am laid
In my sleep you hold my hand and caress my face
There is love inside this place
Life lingers even though death has possessed me
You know all things
Every place where I am
There your are
You said you would go with me even unto the end
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints
I praise you my Father, I thank you beyond measure
It is all my gain and the greatest of all my pleasure
I wrap my arms around your love
Death only leaves footprints of life
Where breathless souls lie
Waiting to be awakened by the spirit in the sky
Peacefully waiting
A restful sleep that last for a night
A Final journey into the light
My heart beats silently, yearning for release
Where I will find total peace
Waiting for a rapture sound
Where you and I can be found
Together forevermore
In that city beyond the clouds
I cannot wait to hear you say
“Arise my love and let’s fly away”
