We are the minority, we are the fundamentalists,
The strange and the ghettoised.
In a society for others, we are the others.
So this means:
In a church for others,
Our worship will be in the workplace,
On the streets, at the football.
Church will be at our neighbour’s, in the kitchen.
We need to remember that God is a musician with many instruments.
And we need to play the tunes that resonate.
That resonate at the boat club, car club and judo club.
We need to sing Christ’s songs that others understand.
Sing from our hearts, from our mouths,
From our actions, our souls and our lives.
In a church for others,
We need to be the others.
