I have not seen nor heard any successful people out there who reached their goals by being a couch potato. They get off their seats, take risks, face their fears, and reach for the stars. They don’t wait for inspirations nor role models to motivate them. They become the encourager, the motivators, and ultimately, the solutions instead of the problems. They become the role models for their generation.
Most people underestimate their own abilities. Everybody is a critic these days. Insecurities abound from lack of good encouragement. But that must not be the case. In Psalm 139, it says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and we are created with God’s purpose in mind.
I used to be very insecure and sensitive to people’s criticism. I had an addiction to people’s approval. I lived in fear of rejection. I battled a war within, and my mind was my battleground. These days, I think I am better than I was. Thanks for my sword, The Word of God. As I fix my eyes on my Creator, and meditating daily on His Word, I gain godly confidence and boldness I never knew I had in me. And now, I’m sharing it to women out there that we can be transformed from being worn-out women to women of worth, as we live our lives for God’s glory.
“Not that I have already reached the goal or am already fully mature, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3: 12-14)
What one thing would you do if you were brave enough to pursue it? With God as your partner, everything is possible. He will move your dreams to action!
Life is short. Don’t waste the precious time you’re given. It’s about time to experience the perfect plan God has in store for you. Get moving!

Sounds like you are on the move in the RIGHT direction Sis. Good for you, as you pursue your goals. May we all be achievers in Christ. Thank you so much for sharing and encouraging us. I love you, Sharon
Good attitude Gloria. God allows us to be criticized to strengthen the muscles of our faith in Him. We cannot control other people's response. But in Him, we can respond positively.
Gloria... You have give us such encouragement to 'move forward' out of our own comfort zones and into the 'zones' that God has waiting for us. He so wants to equip us - and all He needs from each of us is a willing, obedient heart. It takes courage to step out but when we realize we will be stepping into His arms and receiving guidance and wisdom from Him, we become focused and armed with HIS strength to whatever He asks. Thanks for encouraging me - I need to be reminded of this over and over again... for I tend to love my comfort zones. I love you... Your Sister, Peggy
