There are times in your life, when you feel like you are at the end of your rope. There is no where else to go, no one else to turn to. What do we do then? We turn to the Father, who throws down a supernatural rope. We grab on tight with all our might and let Him pull us up where we belong.
My husband and I have been to the place where we could do nothing else on our own. Our money was all gone. We didn’t have much food in the house. We needed medicine and dental work done, even had to borrow money for gas to get to work. Then, comes the time, when there is no one to borrow from. We have used every resource we had. Times are so tough, that no one has money to lend anymore. Jobs are not stable. Things of life come up to take the money people have, like needing a new tire or fixing a broken down vehicle. They get sick and have to go to the doctor and buy meds. An unexpected bill comes up they have to pay. Gas, utilities and grocery prices are going up. A lot of things take our money. It hard for most people! They need help themselves.
So we have been at the point, where there is no where to look, but up. When you get to that point, you feel like you are at the end of your rope. To trust God for gas, food, medicine, etc, is to grab on to the supernatural and hold on and trust God that He is who He says He is and that He will pull us up, and take care of us.
Sometimes I think that is good for us. See, my husband would always cut wood or work on lawnmowers for extra money. I got a second job. Still, the cost of living took it all. With no bills but 1 car payment, it all goes just for living. Then our son helped us for a while. We kept looking for ways that (we) could meet the needs. Then, comes the point where there is nothing left for us to do, absolutely nothing. That’s when our faith really kicks in. We have to trust His word. If we truly, truly, trust Him then we know He will meet our needs. When we can’t do it on our own anymore, we step into the supernatural and let God work His miracles. He does!
He has given us promises we can hold on to. To think, that we can’t make it, is to say that we don’t believe God’s word. I personally trust Him with all my heart. I am thankful for the many promises He has given us. I praise Him and wait with anticipation, for what wonderful miracles He will continually do in our lives.
Matthew 6:25
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
