'Twas long ago my God created
all that we now see,
the sky, the earth, the sea , the plants
the birds and honey bee.
He took some soil and gave it life
he made a man that day,
then took a rib and made his wife
and taught them love-God's way.
But one day soon they broke a rule
and ate forbidden fruit,
the only law that God had made
was trodden under foot.
And so began the sin of man
so many years ago,
it grew and grew against God's will
into a deadly foe.
But now there's a solution
we can break the chain,
God gave his son Lord Jesus
to take away our pain.
He paid the bill for all our sin
and all you have to do,
is accept the fact that Jesus Christ
really loves You!
