Lord, when I look at the world
I see it through my eyes,
I want to see it your way Lord
and see the hidden lies.
I want to help your people Lord
I want to know my place,
to do the jobs you've planned for me
as I live in your grace.
I want to be like you my king
I want to praise you Lord,
I want to be right in your sight
and understand your word.
I want to live with hopefulness
and not a sense of fear,
I want to give you glory Lord
and always have you near.
