Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Psalm 139:13-14 KJV:
13: For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14: I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
I am well aware that abortion is a very controversial subject today. I do not, however, believe it is controversial with God. I believe He is against it. That said, I would like to look at child development in the womb briefly and share with you some of my reflections.
Someone once said, "An embryo is not a potential human being, but rather it is a human being with potential."
I am not one to sit in judgment; I can only live by what God reveals to us in His Holy Word. God has not let me down, ever, and I have found His Word to be trustworthy in every part of my life. Therefore, I have no reason to doubt that He intends for the developing child to be given a chance and the utmost protection available.
Someone also said, "The most dangerous place for a child nowadays is in its mother's womb." Those are strong words that should cause each one who reads them to stop and carefully consider what abortion is, and how God looks upon it.
Will God forgive those who have aborted their children? Most certainly, for He has said the only unforgiveable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. God knows we are sinners. After all He looks down upon our every deed each day, 24/7. He sent His Son to die for all, and pardon for sins is available for all. That is why God said "Whosoever will."
Many of us do things we later regret, sometimes with great remorse and consequences. We can not go back and undo those things, but we can turn it all over to God, and He will in turn blot our sins out from His record book.
If God would not forgive all our sins, I would be a very miserable man, for mine have been so numerous. Thank You, dear God for all Your mercies.
I am the product of a rape and I am thankful that my mother didn't abort me. Ladies keep your babies do not abort them.............. A teenager girl gets raped and a mother decides for that teenager that abortion is the best option or the female gets pregnant and the partner pays for an abortion... The husband commits adultery and a pregnancy results from it. He decides the 'other' woman should abort for fear of his wife finding out. There are so many avenues to abortion. IT IS NEVER RIGHT. Even when the government makes it legal. One sin begets another, unless the individual make the choice to say: 'The buck stops with me.' Ladies, do not let anyone tell you to get rid of your unborn child. You may have made a mistake but God can turn it around for your good and to bring glory to His name. He can turn your ashes into beauty.
This is a very heart wrenching sunject to me.I do not understand how anyone can do this.I know it is forgiven but I am very pro life.God forms the babies in the womb with a purpose for all.James Robison's mother was raped but had him anyway and look what the Lord had planned for him.He is not perfect but he has preached for years.
I so appreciate your humility and acceptance of God's grace and forgiveness in your life, Thomas! I praise and thank Him with you for His many blessings marked in His blood and sacrifice. Jody

I can't even imagine someone even thinking of aborting their baby. There are those of us who wanted a baby so badly when we were young that it hurts so much to hear of those who want to get rid of something that God allowed to be there. Oh yes, I am sure there are those horrid circumstances that would make a woman want to lose their child, but it is never the child's fault. I just don't understand...This is a hard topic for me to comment on...Helen
