Father, I am weak and lonely;
The world around me is closing onto me.
I’m lost and scared!
I confess I have drifted away…
I know I have given in to the pleasures of the world
But I want to return to you….
My heart truly rejoices only when you are around
I am happy from within only with you;
Nothing of the world can ever give me what you have done for me…
Lord, your word says –
‘He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.’(Proverbs 28:13)
I lay my life at your feet
My sins on the altar….
Cleanse me…!
Purify me…
Make me as white as snow, please Lord,
I have hope in you alone, I trust you from the depths of my being..
I trust that you will not forsake nor leave me alone in the wild…
I run to you…
Sorry Father…. Please make me yours again!
