Lord, In Jesus name I pray,
be with me as I go my way,
as I approach each unknown place,
prepared to greet each unknown face.
Oh Lord, if I'm to meet with danger,
with some unfamiliar stranger,
then Lord I pray to me you'll give,
the courage, and the will to live.
And if that courage starts to fade,
please send your Angels to my aid,
and if my fears have been ungrounded,
keep my imagination grounded.
And Lord I pray in me you'll show,
your love and holy spirits glow,
that I may be of use to you,
to help to save a soul or two,
and as I move from place to place,
saved only by your perfect grace,
be with me Lord I ask again,
in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
