Lord, Take My Hand
By Thomas Kittrell

I have been feeling quite depressed this week, due to a very depressing event coming up for a family member. I will not go into detail, but I will say it will be a valley through which Mary and I have never walked. I came across this little poem I wrote a few years ago, and it has been a blessing to me all over again, to refocus on the fact that God is right here with us, holding our hands. I hope it blesses you. We can use your prayers. God bless.
Lord, take my hand
And lift me up
I need a refreshing drink
From Your loving cup
Today I feel sort of down
I feel sort of blue
I need an uplifting of spirit
I need to talk to You
Caress me with Your love
Cheer me and make me smile
I want to just sit with you
And feel your presence awhile
Please walk with me dear God
Let me find comfort in You
Please touch me gently, Lord
I feel so depressed and blue
I feel better now, dear Lord
The day will be just fine
I am yours I know
And You are mine
Thomas, each one of us have to go through trials and dark valleys but we know we are not alone.I know Jesus has already worked everything out for you and Mary. I know we will be rejoicing soon with you. When you've done all you can do to stand..STAND!! We've got your arms!!!Luv-n-Jesus..Neetie
Praying. Recently I have been singing this song, "Better Than I' from the movie, 'JOSEPH'
"You know better than I,
You know the way. I've let go the need to know why,
For You know better than I."
It has blessed me and helped me to focus on Christ while dealing with the chaos around me. I hope it will help you while you are going through. I love the poem.
Our trials are not a secret to our God of Love and Comfort for He has walked in our shoes and is walking beside you now. I will pray for you and Mary that through this and every day you will be enveloped in God's peace and granted His wisdom to see you to every tomorrow. Jody
So tenderly written, dear one. I can see Jesus all over your heart and soul. Be still...I give you peace and joy. Prayers for your family at this time especially. Shalom :)

May the Lord be with you and hold your hand through this trial. Trials may come and trials may go, but the Lord goes on forever...Blessings...Helen
